I know what you are thinking: Yes, I am tired, achy and frustrated – who isn’t? Just had Christmas and New Year holidays and now back to “real” life stuff in January.
It is a common complaint as experienced from clients. And of course, it can get worse. How so? Well, do you also suffer from headaches, bloating, gas? Are you ready to scream: “My PMS is driving me crazy”? How about weight gain or menstrual issues or diabetes?
Are you getting tired just thinking about all this?
Well I have some good news and bad news.
The bad newsis that you may have hormone issues and they have a mind of their own. When hormones are unbalanced, they affect every area in the body. It is complex, difficult to correct because they like to interact with each other, and it takes time to make them behave.
If this seems overwhelming, then here is the good news.
You can work on them all at once by choosing to eat the right foods and making some simple lifestyle changes. That is right – you can eat your way to hormone health. Supplements can be helpful but it will be even more helpful if the food you eat delivers what the hormones need to function properly.
Here is the truth about the life we all lead:
• We run around like crazy, with too many activities and too little time
• We do not have enough time to look after ourselves
• We end up wearing out both our bodies and our minds
• And we become dependent on stimulants like coffee and fortify ourselves with fast foods that leave us feeling empty, or maybe we do not eat at all and the tank is really empty
I know you feel tired just thinking about this. Take a deep breath. I have an answer for you.
I have a new workshop series that will start to help you turn your misbehaving hormones into the helpers they are supposed to be.
Starting on February 21, I am hosting and starting a 3 Part Healthy Hormones Workshop Series at The Wellness Body & Spa from 6 pm to 7:15pm.
This unique food-based and lifestyle based workshop series, is going to allow you to figure out what you can do to make changes that will work for you and your lifestyle. It will teach you what foods your hormones love, inspire your taste buds and give you a better sense as to how your body works.
